IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - A man accused of filming multiple University of Iowa students while they were in the shower has pleaded not guilty in the case.

The Iowa City Press-Citizen (https://icp-c.com/22oGDmU ) reports that 23-year-old Robert L. Hightower pleaded not guilty Monday to burglary, assault on a peace officer, invasion of privacy, and other crimes.

Authorities say Hightower trespassed at a university residence hall multiple times between Feb. 12 and 15 and filmed at least three students as they were showering. Hightower was found hiding in the bathroom when police arrived at the hall.

He is being held in Johnson County jail on a bond of more than $32,000. Court documents say his trial is scheduled for April 19 at the Johnson County Courthouse.

It was not immediately clear if he has a lawyer.
