SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A house fire in Salt Lake City has left 3 people hospitalized and several others displaced.

KSL-TV in Salt Lake City reports (https://bit.ly/1pAS5KT) that firefighters were called just before 4 a.m. Saturday.

They located a man, 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy.

All three suffered smoke inhalation and second-degree burns.

Fire officials say two are in serious condition and one is in fair condition.

There were no other injuries.

According to investigators, 10 people and six dogs live in the home and shed.

The fire caused severe damage to the exterior, a front room and the kitchen.

The Red Cross is helping the displaced residents.

The cause remains under investigation.
