LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State Police says three people have died on state roads in the past two days.

Preliminary incident reports say a 50-year old Widener man was traveling eastbound Friday on Highway 242 about 7:40 a.m. when he couldn’t take a curve and drove off the side of the road. The vehicle overcorrected, causing it to flip and land on its side.

A 39-year-old Ozark man was traveling on State Highway 23 around 11:36 a.m. Friday when he crossed the center line multiple times and into southbound traffic and struck a tree.

Around midnight, a 56-year-old Shreveport, Louisiana, man had gotten out of his vehicle on the road because he saw it was on fire. He was hit by a truck heading eastbound on Interstate 30 and killed on impact.
