MONROE, Ohio (AP) - Investigators are looking into the cause of a barn fire that killed horses in southwestern Ohio.

Fire officials north of Cincinnati in Monroe say the horses were trapped inside the barn when the fire broke out Friday morning.

The barn’s owner says the fire already had engulfed the building when he woke up and saw it.
