MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A giraffe calf born at Minot’s Roosevelt Park Zoo now has a name.

The Minot Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1puoUt4 ) that the winner of a public naming contest is Mokolo. That name got more votes than Baako or Kutu, the other choices.

The contest also raised money for the zoo.

The zoo now has four giraffes - Mokolo, his parents and big sister Zuvi.

The zoo opens for the season April 30.
