CASTLETON, Vt. (AP) - Police say three Vermont residents have died in a one-car collision in Castleton.

Castleton police say the car was headed west on Drake Road about 4:15 a.m. Saturday when it went off the road and crashed into a tree. The driver and the two passengers in the car died at the scene.

Police identified them as 26-year-old Andrew F. Laramie, of Castleton, who was driving the car; 24-year-old Caleb C. Kinney, of Fair Haven; and 23-year-old Samantha J. Forrest, also of Castleton.

The Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington is to perform autopsies.
