LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Little Rock woman has been sentenced to 35 years in prison in the 2014 fatal stabbing of a man.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1TVPCaq ) reports 37-year-old Melissa Stearns was sentenced Wednesday in the death of Herschel Johnson. Stearns had been found guilty of first-degree murder.

Prosecutors say Stearns stabbed Johnson in his home in January 2014.
