DANBURY, Conn. (AP) - A woman was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a house fire in Danbury.

Firefighters responded to the multi-family home on Stevens Street just after midnight Wednesday.

Officials say several residents, including four children, escaped from the fire.

A man and a woman were seriously burned and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A woman was found dead on the second floor. Authorities haven’t released her identity.

There’s no word on what caused the blaze.
