WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - Four people have been indicted in the September shooting of a baseball prospect in a suburban New York parking lot.

Acting Westchester County District Attorney James A. McCarty said Wednesday that Nashuan Hunter of the Bronx faces a second-degree murder charge. The three other defendants are charged with assault.

Michael Nolan was declared dead in October. Authorities say the shooting outside a Burger King in Yonkers, New York, stemmed from a dispute over a drag race.

The Oakland Athletics drafted Nolan, a Yonkers native, out of Oklahoma City University. He was placed on the restricted list on July 14, 2014, and never pitched in an official Minor League game.

The name of an attorney who could comment on the Hunter’s behalf was not immediately available.
