UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A former western Pennsylvania police officer facing charges he had sexual contact with a teenage girl is now accused of sexually assaulting two women he arrested.

Forty-three-year-old Ryan Reese was charged Tuesday with rape, official oppression and related offenses.

In one cases, the former Connellsville officer is accused of raping a woman in her home after he handcuffed her. Authorities say another woman performed a sexual act on Reese in 2012 after he arrested her because he told her it would help her with her charges. She says he contacted her two other times for sex.

Investigators say both women said they performed sex acts out of fear.

He’s awaiting trial in a second case on charges he had sex with a 16-year-old girl.

A defense attorney tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Reese denies the charges.
