ORONO, Maine (AP) - Authorities are continuing their search for a 21-year-old Maine Maritime Academy student who’s been missing since last week.

David “DJ” Breunig, of Westbrook, was last seen in Orono on Friday night. Breunig is a junior at the academy in Castine.

WMTW-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1L5ijie ) the Maine Warden Service says divers on Tuesday searched the Penobscot River, focusing on areas where K-9s indicated a body might be in the water.

Wardens indicated the search is now likely a recovery effort after more than 60 people searched for Breunig on Monday.

Game wardens have said they’ve searched the Penobscot River via air, water and land to try to find Breunig.
