LYNDON, Vt. (AP) - Police say slippery road conditions led to a driver’s fatal crash in the Vermont town of Lyndon.

Police said 58-year-old Thomas Williamson of West Burke, Vermont, was driving north on U.S. Route 5 on Monday night when he lost control of his car. It collided with a guardrail and came to rest on top of it.

No one else was in the car.
