SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - New Castle city police have arrested a man they say hit a woman with his vehicle and dumped her body in a parking lot in October.

The News Journal of Wilmington (https://delonline.us/1UxGUhE ) reports that police arrested 31-year-old Dustin M. Brown on charges of manslaughter and leaving the scene of a collision causing death. He was arraigned Tuesday and taken to Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna.

Senior Lt. Adam P. Brams says that police believe he struck the woman on a street in the late evening or early morning hours of Oct. 5 or Oct. 6. Police found the body of 23-year-old Kimberly Quade on the morning of Oct. 6 near gas pumps at a parking lot of Airport Plaza Shopping Center in Hares Corner.

It’s unclear if Brown has an attorney for comment.
