ENFIELD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a driver has died in a fiery car crash on Interstate 89 in Enfield.

Troopers responded to the crash on I-89 southbound near Exit 16 on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say they were unable to reach the driver because the car was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the blaze but police say the driver died as a result of the crash. No one else was in the vehicle.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family. Additional details about what led up to the crash weren’t immediately available.
