SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Shepherdsville police have arrested a man they say opened fire on another car as he drove- all while his 18-month child sat in his vehicle.

Multiple media outlets report that 22-year-old Curtis Wyatt is accused of firing a shot from his car into another man’s car Monday evening as the two traveled south on I-65 in Bullitt County.

An arrest warrant says the victim told police Wyatt followed him closely before he passed him to the right, pulled in front of him and then slammed on the breaks. Soon after, the shot was fired, which police say passed through the front passenger door and passenger seat.

Wyatt was arrested and charged with attempted murder and first-degree wanton endangerment.

It isn’t immediately clear if Wyatt has an attorney.
