RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - The Fremont County coroner has ordered toxicology reports for two Wind River Indian Reservation residents who died after jumping or falling off a Wyoming dam.

The Ranger reports (https://bit.ly/217tkkP ) that Coroner Mark Stratmoen says a 17-year-old boy died at the scene Friday. A 46-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

Investigators have not yet been able to determine how the two fell from the Diversion Dam bridge, which is about 35 miles northwest of Riverton.

Their identities are being withheld pending family notification.

Fremont County Search and Rescue crews along with Wind River police and the county sheriff’s office had responded to the area and helped recover both bodies.

An investigation remains ongoing.
