BEND, Ore. (AP) - A climber who fell 15 feet at a remote part of Smith Rock State Park in central Oregon has been hoisted out and taken to a hospital.

The Bulletin reports (https://bit.ly/1LzdqhL) that 37-year-old Andrew Duncan of Portland fell at about noon on Saturday when he lost his grip while attempting to clip into an anchor.

The fall took place in an area without roads or maintained trails.

So the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team hoisted Duncan 125 feet up a rock face.

He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
