MARANA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a two Tucson residents were killed in a wrong-way head-on collision on Interstate 10 in the Tucson area over the weekend.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety say a car driven by 25-year-old Stephanie Perez was going westbound in an eastbound lane when it collided with a car driven by 26-year-old Andrew Ingargiola.

Both died at the scene of the accident early Saturday morning in Marana. Eastbound I-10 was closed about four hours.

DPS spokesman Bart Graves says investigators haven’t ruled out the possibility of impairment being a crash factor.
