WASHINGTON (AP) - Officials say the death of a man who was found unresponsive on a Metro train wasn’t suspicious.

District police say the unidentified man was found around 8 p.m. Thursday on the train at the Foggy Bottom station.

Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says two passengers noticed the man was unresponsive and notified train officials. Stessel says the passengers believed the man was sleeping.

Police say the man was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities say there are no signs of foul play in the man’s death.
