FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) - Officials say one woman is in critical condition after a four-vehicle collision that closed all lanes of Interstate 5 southbound near Federal Way.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Webb tweeted Monday night that a woman in her 20s died at a hospital after the crash earlier in the evening. He later tweeted that he had gotten misinformation and that the woman was in critical condition.

Webb says the driver who struck the woman’s vehicle has been arrested for vehicular homicide.

He warned motorists to expect long delays on I-5 at State Route 18 as investigators determine what happened. He said two lanes would be open by about 9:15 p.m.

He says one or more vehicles rolled over and that people suffered serious injuries. He didn’t say how many people were injured. He said it appears drugs and/or alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
