TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa man was killed when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle as he tried to cross Interstate 44 in Tulsa on foot.

The OHP says the man was dead at the scene about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday. The man’s name was not immediately released.

An OHP report says the SUV was westbound when the man stepped into its path and was knocked about 150 feet from the point of impact.



The driver of the SUV was not injured.
