HODGEN, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one person was killed in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer rig in eastern Oklahoma.

An OHP report says the victim was northbound on U.S. Highway 59 near Hodgen in Le Flore County about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when the vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed into the oncoming rig.

The victim’s name was not immediately released pending positive identification by the state medical examiner. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
