FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - The Patriots have signed veteran receiver Nate Washington.

New England announced the addition Thursday. The 32-year-old played last season with the Texans and was an unrestricted free agent.

Originally signed by Pittsburgh in 2005 as an undrafted free agent, Washington spent three years with the Steelers, winning a pair of Super Bowl rings. He also played five years with the Titans.

Washington has started in 107 of his 159 career games and has 458 catches for 6,954 yards and 44 touchdowns.

He is the second receiver the Patriots have signed since free agency began. New England added Chris Hogan on March 11.
