NEWBERRY, S.C. (AP) - A company that makes sport fishing boats is setting up shop in Newberry, investing $1.5 million and creating 35 new jobs.

Falcon Boats announced Thursday that it will be manufacturing boats in an existing building.

The company was initially established as Marine Pro in Irmo where it specialized in boat repairs and modification. Now it has expanded to building boats.

The new jobs will be created over the next five years.
