WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man was stabbed to death and another was injured after a traffic dispute on Long Island.

It happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Friday in West Babylon.

Suffolk County Police say two motorists traveling along Straight Path got into a dispute before the two cars pulled over.

They say the occupants got out and a suspect from one of the vehicles stabbed two men in the other car.

Authorities say one of the victims died of his injuries. The other man was treated at a local hospital for injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening.

Police say the suspect drove off in a white SUV with out-of-state license plates.

No arrests have been made. Police say they are continuing to investigate.
