WOONSOCKET, R.I. (AP) - A Woonsocket man has pleaded guilty to charges he shot four people during a monthslong crime spree last year.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1pB7SJ9 ) 20-year-old Zackary Alvarado entered the plea Thursday to charges related to the shootings, as well as multiple robberies and assaults that happened over a four-month period in 2015.

Prosecutors say Alvarado robbed a store multiple times at gunpoint last March and April, and another store on June 13, in Woonsocket.

They say Alvarado shot four people outside a bar on River Street on June 19. The victims suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.

Alvarado has been held without bail since his arrest. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on June 1.
