ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - A Rock Hill woman has been arrested after police say she rammed her car into her ex-boyfriend’s home as their 10-month old son rode along with her.

The York County Sheriff’s Office tells local media outlets deputies responded to a home at 2 a.m. Thursday. A man reported he had been asleep when his ex-girlfriend banged on his door and windows, then rammed her car into his home.

Police say 34-year-old Jessica Shannon Hinson was charged with unlawful neglect of a child, malicious injury to property and reckless driving. She was jailed without bond. It wasn’t known if she had an attorney.

Officers say Hinson admitted ramming the house because she was angry. She said she was bringing the child to her ex-boyfriend because she needed a break from parenting.
