DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - Dubuque police say they have suspended their investigation into a stabbing because the victim has refused to cooperate with investigators.

The Telegraph Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1VO6QWN ) that officers were called to Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque at about 4:45 a.m. Friday for a report of a man with stab wound to his arm.

Police say the 31-year-old man told officers that he was attacked as he was walking to his car from a party. Otherwise, police say, the man refused to cooperate with the investigation.
