GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - The Glendale Police Department says it is searching for three children who have been missing from an apartment complex since noon Saturday.

The police say their mother reported that she left her children - ages 8, 4 and 2 - home alone to run an errand, and all of them were missing when she returned home.

Police say in a statement that there was no evidence of forced entry into the home at 6525 W. Montibello Avenue.

The children are Christian Schoonover, 8, who is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 90 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. Police say he was last seen wearing a yellow basketball style jersey. The 4-year-old is Lydia Zamora, who is about 3 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 35 to 40 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. The 2-year-old is LillyAnna Zamora, who is about 3 feet tall and weighs 30 pounds. Both girls have a scar on their back.
