BELTON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of 3-month-old baby who died after going in cardiac arrest at a home daycare in Belton.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office tells local media outlets that the boy on Friday afternoon was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Deputy Coroner Don McCown says an autopsy is planned for Monday.

Officials have not released further information on the day care or the child. Authorities say five children attend the day care, ranging from 3 months to 3 years old.
