LITCHFIELD, Maine (AP) - The Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit has charged a YMCA lifeguard with possession of child pornography.

Authorities say 29-year-old Ethan Francine of Litchfield was charged Friday - the day after his computers were seized from his home and searched.

Investigators say they contained sexually explicit material depicting children under the age of 12.

Francine was released after posting $2,000 bail, and is due in court May 16.

Conditions of his release include no contact with children under age 16 and also prohibit him from having electronic devices that can access the Internet.

Authorities say he is a lifeguard at the Bath, YMCA, at the pool in Brunswick Landing.

No phone listing for him could be found. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
