LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a man was found shot to death in a car in Las Vegas and a suspect is still at large.

Police officers were called around 2:15 a.m. Saturday to investigate a shooting of someone in a vehicle.

They arrived in the area of South Jones Boulevard and Rochelle Avenue and located the victim with a gunshot wound.

Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the victim was driving when a passenger shot him as he was parking.

The suspect fled the scene before they got there.

Police have not released the name of the victim or the suspect.

This incident makes the 36th homicide this year for police.
