BERKELEY, Mo. (AP) - Police say they have identified a man shot and killed in a car in the St. Louis suburb of Berkeley.

Berkeley Police Chief Frank McCall says 19-year-old Quinton Pearson-Harts of Kinloch died during the gunfire Thursday night.

Police say Pearson-Harts, another wounded man and a third person drove themselves to a pizza restaurant in nearby Ferguson to seek help.

The medical status of the second wounded man was not immediately clear Saturday.

McCall says the reasons for the shooting aren’t clear, but that all three men knew each other.

There’s no immediate word about any arrests or charges.
