PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Sunday is the deadline to register for the Rhode Island presidential primary.

Anyone who wants to vote in the April 26 primary must register by the deadline.

Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea (gor-BAY’-ah) says any voter who has moved or changed their name since last voting should update their information by Sunday.

She says every city and town has made arrangements for residents to register by the deadline even though it falls on Easter Sunday.

Arrangements vary depending on the town. Some are collecting registration forms at police or fire stations. Others will keep town halls or the board of canvassers open.
