MARSHFIELD, Mo. (AP) - A southwestern Missouri woman is accused of negligently causing a man’s death during a traffic crash.

The Springfield News-Leader (https://sgfnow.co/1RCrbs4) reports that Webster County prosecutors have charged 67-year-old Teresa Clark of Mansfield with involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Clark was driving Thursday on U.S. 60 when her car hit the back of a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Michael Dezura of Sparta.

The patrol says Dezura’s car left the road and overturned, and he died at the scene.

A probable cause statement included with the criminal complaint against Clark alleges her blood-alcohol content was more than twice the state’s legal threshold for intoxication.

Online court records don’t show whether Clark has an attorney.
