CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - The administrator of the federal banking system is set to discuss current issues in banking regulation at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Comptroller of the Currency Thomas J. Curry plans to discuss his agency’s work to support responsible innovation in the banking system.

The seminar will be held Thursday as part of the school’s “New Directions in Regulation” series. Since 1998, more than 200 seminars have been held, led by leading scholars from Harvard and around the world.

Curry served five Massachusetts governors as the state’s Commissioner of Banks from 1990 to 1991 and from 1995 to 2003.

The seminar will be held in Bell Hall of the Belfer Building at the Harvard Kennedy School.
