PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A cargo helicopter is lifting air conditioning units to and from the roof of the Providence Place Mall.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/22FxQgH) the Skycrane helicopter is moving 23 of the old units off the roof and replacing them with 23 new ones.

Providence Place Mall Spokesman Dante Bellini says each unit weighs 17,000 pounds.

Police on Sunday blocked off streets in the area as the helicopter hoisted cargo to and from the lawn of the nearby train station.

The operation should be completed Sunday.
