MACON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a man accused in a burglary in February has been arrested in Macon.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Moss tells the Telegraph (https://bit.ly/1MtTm0c ) that 26-year-old Jeffery Carpenter Jr. arrested just before 9 p.m. Saturday. Moss says Carpenter was identified as the suspect in the burglary that occurred at a residence Feb. 3.

Carpenter is charged with one count of burglary, one count of theft by taking, one count of theft by receiving stolen property and a probation violation.

Carpenter is being held at the Bibb County jail. It’s not clear whether he has an attorney.
