PHOENIX (AP) - A motorcyclist has died in a crash on a Phoenix freeway interchange.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The motorcycle rider was near the “Mini Stack” where Interstate 17 and Interstate 10 cross.

Authorities say the man went off the road while navigating a ramp from southbound I-17 to I-10.

DPS says he was thrown from his motorcycle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released his name.

They have not determined if impairment was a factor.
