SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Two people have been shot including a 10-year-old boy in Syracuse.

Police responded Sunday night to reports of shots fired and a large crowd in the area.

When they arrived on the scene they found a 35-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. Police say the man suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he’s listed in critical condition. The boy suffered a gunshot wound to his right ankle. He’s hospitalized in stable condition.

Police say they believe the suspect left the area in a black, four-door sedan.

No other information was immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
