WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) - The Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire will soon break ground on a new headquarters in White River Junction, Vermont.

The headquarters now is located in West Lebanon, New Hampshire and the organization - known as VNH - has an office in Wilder, Vermont.

The Valley News reports (https://bit.ly/1RG3Zzh ) that Vermont state regulators recently approved the plan for a new $2.6 million, two-story building adjacent to the recently-constructed state office building on Prospect Street, along the banks of the Connecticut River.

VNH, which has 268 employees, provides services in more than 140 towns in New Hampshire and Vermont.

VNH officials say they hope to break ground this spring and occupy their new offices in December, when leases on their current properties expire.
