PITTSBURGH (AP) - A man has been charged with kidnapping and killing a Pittsburgh man found shot to death in a wooded area of Pittsburgh last week.

And a woman who allegedly helped the suspect has also been charged with kidnapping and conspiracy.

Twenty-one-year-old Mitchell Coles is charged with homicide, kidnapping and other charges in the death of 21-year-old Saevon Scott-Ponder. His bullet-riddled body was found Thursday near Pittsburgh’s Beltzhoover neighborhood.

Police have charged 24-year-old Erica Harris because they say she was driving and helped Coles and another man - who has yet to be charged - kidnap Scott-Ponder over a drug debt. A criminal complaint says Scott-Ponder told friends he owed someone 100 Xanax pills shortly before he was kidnapped.

Coles and Harris remained jailed Monday and don’t have attorneys listed in court records.
