DETROIT (AP) - Two 23-year-old men are being held as persons of interest in the fatal shooting of a 3-year-old girl inside a Detroit home.

Police say Monday that no charges have yet been filed against the men.

The girl was shot early Sunday on the city’s west side after a man forced his way into the home and opened fire.

Two other men inside the home also were wounded. A 39-year-old man was in critical condition and a 26-year-old was in stable condition Sunday. Police say they were related to the girl.

The suspect reportedly ran from the house after the shooting and fled in a white or gray Mercury Grand Marquis.
