FLINT, Mich. (AP) - An art exhibit featuring the work of crime victims is planned next month in Flint.

The Flint Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1MLmomY ) the inaugural “Empower” exhibit is hosted by the Genesee County prosecutor’s office and takes place April 15 at the city’s farmers market.

Entries from victims of crime in Genesee County are being accepted until April 7 at the prosecutor’s office. No entry fee or art experience is required.

Any type of artwork will be placed on display. The exhibit is scheduled to take place during National Crime Victims’ Right Week.
