TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - U.S. Border Patrol agents have arrested a Mexican man deported after serving 11 years in prison for his involvement in a 2001 drive-by shooting in Tucson.

Border Patrol officials say Sergio Coronado-Mata was arrested over the weekend outside Tucson.

The say Tucson Sector agents conducting biometric records checks learned of Coronado-Mata’s manslaughter conviction in Pima County.

The 2001 shooting wounded two others including a 17-year-old boy.

Authorities say Coronado-Mata now has been charged with felony re-entry after deportation by an aggravated felon.
