HARDIN, Mont. (AP) - The state is filing additional charges against a Hardin woman who has been sentenced to 20-years in prison for her role in the death of her boyfriend’s 6-year-old daughter.

Big Horn County Attorney Jay Harris says 27-year-old Kerstyn Old Bull is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on two counts of aggravated assault, four counts of assault on a minor and one count of criminal child endangerment.

Old Bull was sentenced in February after pleading guilty to criminal child endangerment and obstructing justice in the March 2015 death of Kiomora “Kiki” Hogan.

The additional charges allege that Old Bull caused the girl to suffer burns, a cracked rib, bruising on her abdomen and buttocks and bruising to the back of her ears in the month before her death.

Harris says Old Bull does not yet have an attorney in this case.
