FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) - Frostburg police say four people partying on a porch roof in a college student neighborhood were hurt when the structure collapsed.

Police Chief Royce Douty said Monday that the most serious injury was a broken leg.

He says police were breaking up a large party in a student rental area Saturday evening when a number young people got on the porch roof and started jumping up and down.

Douty says he feels fortunate that more people weren’t hurt.

The western Maryland city is home to Frostburg State University.
