TIGARD, Ore. (AP) - A meeting of experts who oversee Oregon’s public pension system was interrupted when a man in the audience unleashed a profanity-laden tirade against its leader.

The Statesman Journal reports (https://goo.gl/9xcwt0 ) the unidentified man focused his ire at Public Employees Retirement System Board Executive Director Steve Rodeman on Monday.

The man, appearing to be in his 50s and wearing all black clothing and sunglasses, told Rodeman he had messed with the wrong man’s wife and told him he was about to have a bad day.

The rant ended with additional profanities and he left before police arrived.

Rodeman said he’d never experienced an outburst like that in his 14 years at the agency.

Rodeman also said he had no idea why the man was threatening him.
