RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - More spring snow appears to be on the way for southwestern South Dakota.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Tuesday night through Wednesday evening.

The precipitation is expected to start as rain during the day Tuesday and change to snow Tuesday night. Forecasters say from half a foot to a foot of snow is possible in the watch area, along with gusty winds and cooler temperatures.

Similar amounts of snow fell in parts of southern South Dakota last week.
