MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont’s libraries are getting ready to shine in mid-April. Library Snapshot day will occur at many of the institutions the week of April 10 through the 16th. Photos, user comments, statistics and other data will be collected describing a day in the life of Vermont libraries.

The Vermont Library Association is promoting the event to highlight the impacts that libraries have on their communities and promote public support of them.

Participating libraries are to include public, school-based, academic and special libraries.
